I don’t know if monetizing the body is acceptable.
What I do know is that this question has almost always been asked about women’s bodies, and that everyone has answered it, but women aren’t being heard.

What I do know is that this question has almost always been asked about women’s bodies, and that everyone has answered it, but women aren’t being heard.
BoobsNFT began as a reflection on a specific asymmetry: a woman’s breasts are censored, sexualized, objectified, and sold; a man’s chest is exposed. The rules of all platforms encode this asymmetry (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok…): My chest is allowed everywhere, hers is not. We’ve even reached the point of censoring master paintings.
I am therefore subjecting my own chest to this mechanism. Same mint, same contract, same distribution: every resale continues to fund charities dedicated to women’s empowerment, which is guaranteed on the blockchain. But the gesture carries different weight, and this difference constitutes the artwork.
This collection will not answer the question. It documents what happens when anyone can insert themselves into it. If men create tokens, the ledger becomes the proof— a permanent, quantifiable record of those who pay to be seen, and those who do not.
Mine is the first male torso in the collection. It will not be the most important one.
